The book publishing imprint of Perkumpulan Tamalanrea Science and Research Center — a research association constituted under Indonesian law, based in Makassar, South Sulawesi.
Perkumpulan Tamalanrea Science and Research Center was established in 2024 to document and study local knowledge in Indonesia: the manuscripts that record it, the communities that hold it, and the education traditions that transmitted it. Publishing is how that work reaches readers.
Perkumpulan Tamalanrea Science and Research Center is the association's book imprint. It publishes scholarly editions, translations, monographs and reference works on the manuscript traditions, languages and local knowledge of South Sulawesi and eastern Indonesia. The association also publishes a peer-reviewed journal, the Wallacea Journal of Science and Innovation.
The press is funded by the association. It charges authors nothing, and accepts no sponsorship that would compromise editorial independence.
The publisher is a badan hukum — a body with legal personality under Indonesian law. Its establishment was approved by the Ministry of Law of the Republic of Indonesia.
